PHAN and APHA in Partnership
In preparation for the MINK Regional Public Health Conference that PHAN is hosting in October 2024, we invite you will join us for our August PHAN Cafe to learn how PHAN activities and priorities connect to and impact the American Public Health Association (APHA) and vice versa.
Presenters:
Arianne Noorestani is the Affiliate Manager at the American Public Health Association (APHA) where she supports the organization’s 52 state and regional Affiliates. Before this role, Arianne worked as a Project Communication Support Specialist at APHA, where she helped develop communications content and provided technical assistance to twenty project teams dedicated to improving access to food and health services. Arianne holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Public Health from The George Washington University. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Jessica Seberger is the PHAN Affiliate Representative to the APHA Governing Council (ARGC). Jessica Seberger is the Maternal and Child Health program manager at the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services. Ms. Seberger’s current work projects of note include supporting Community Health Worker sustainability and increasing children and young people’s access to and use of mental health services throughout Nebraska. Ms. Seberger is a Public Health Association of Nebraska (PHAN) board member and the current Affiliate Representative for the Governing Council for PHAN. Her free time is spent with her family, with a good book/podcast, or sneaking in a nap.
