How to Become Business Savvy with your Diabetes Management Program

Every day, YOU help your diabetic patients learn to set goals and make positive lifestyle changes. The other side of that work includes knowing how to maximize REIMBURSEMENT for all you do.

Join us for an engaging day of learning from national expert, Mary Ann Hodorowicz, about how to become business savvy with your diabetes management program. Topics include:

  • What does a “Best Practice” DSME-MNT program look like?
  • Sustainability of DSME programs- including financial plans
  • Medicare coding and coverage guidelines for DSMT

Ms. Hodorowicz is a licensed registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator and earned her MBA with a focus on marketing. She is also a certified endocrinology coder and owns a private practice specializing in corporate clients in Palos Heights, IL. She is a consultant, professional speaker, trainer, and author for the health, food, and pharmaceutical industries in nutrition, wellness, diabetes, and Medicare and private insurance reimbursement. Her clients include healthcare entities, professional membership associations, pharmacies, medical CEU education/training firms, government agencies, food and pharmaceutical companies, academia, and employer groups.
